Merry Christmas everyone!

I was planning on making a blog post for Christmas Eve as well, but I decided to make one for Christmas Day itself instead. Okay, too much irrelevant information was given.

Anyway, my Christmas turned out better than what I had expected in terms of gifts. I'm not a materialistic person -- it's just that I wasn't expecting people (even my own parents) to give me anything because I never really wanted or asked for anything in particular. I mean, thinking of a whole wish list is just too taxing for me! Lazy person alert.

Besides, Christmas for me is all about the giving then the receiving. Yeah, it's really awesome to receive presents and all but giving it to someone who is really special and seeing them smile when they open it is a hundred times more fulfilling.

Trust me, I've felt that feeling.

Fun fact: The belt I used for this outfit was an actual ribbon.

Though it's nearly Christmas, the weather here in the Philippines is still very hot so this calls for the less conservative kind of pants called shorts.

Just for the sake of going out and escaping boredom, I accompanied my mom to work. The place had really fast Internet, air conditioning, and whatnot. My time was mostly spent catching up on YouTube and taking photos. 

I also thought that wearing a hat might be helpful to lessen the scorching heat on my head however I don't think it made a significant difference. 

Oh, the disadvantages of living in a tropical country.

Juilliard is my ultimate dream school! My aunt got the shirt for me when she visited Juilliard in New York. You have no idea how excited I was to receive the package. Every time I wear it I feel like I'm a student and I'm showing off my school pride.

Hello December! 

I can't believe November passed us by so quickly. It was like one day it was November and the next thing you know, it's already the first of December. Oh, how time flies.

It's that time of the year again: Christmas! I genuinely love Christmas. I just want to listen to Christmas songs all day and get into the festive spirit!

My new motto in life: Yes!

After few months ago, after watching Zoella's video about saying yes, I've decided to say yes to things I'd never normally say yes to. Of course, I won't be saying yes to absolutely anything. I have my own boundaries, that's for sure.

Recently, my "yes life" has led me to achieve and do great things I never thought I could even do. I won't go into detail about it because it would clearly become a novel if I did that.

Now, I feel so much better about saying yes to thing. It has improved my confidence which just makes me want to go out and do more things that are out of the blue in my life. 

It makes me feel more positive which will lead to happiness.

Typical me strikes again.

I spent a hefty amount of time trying to come up with an outfit that did not involve the color black as much as possible, but come on, I couldn't help myself because of the fact that black goes well with everything.

I think it's safe to say that I have achieved that challenge I imposed on myself.

Of course, there is still room for experimentation.

To be honest, I am very contented with the fact that I successfully added some color to my monochrome wardrobe! Lately, my wardrobe is being dominated by grey, black, and white -- which is quite a boring sight if I do say so myself.

Also, I channeled my inner ninja while shooting with my grandparents reading the newspaper nearby. It's such a challenge to shoot when people are looking at you because it makes me feel uneasy though I'm already used to it. In a way.

The weather has been intensely hot and and bipolar lately, as I do say so myself. The sun's been shining all afternoon and I'm pretty sure some people just want to stick their heads inside a freezer because of the heat.
